On 26 May 2020, the new EU regulation on medical devices (MDR) will come into force. This EU regulation also affects research with medical devices in Switzerland and will become applicable in Switzerland in spring 2020 with the revised Medical Devices Ordinance (MepV) and the new "Ordinance for Clinical Trials with Medical Devices (KlinV-Mep)".

After an initial information event on this topic by the Department of Clinical Research in September 2019, this Clinical Research Update Seminar will be a further information event providing information on the latest changes and implications in connection with the new EU regulation on clinical research with medical devices in Switzerland.
