The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is supporting five projects led by researchers affiliated with research groups at the Department of Clinical Research (DKF), with a combined funding volume of approximately 5.2 million Swiss francs. The funded projects address questions relating to diagnostics, cancer treatment and healthcare delivery. The SNSF funding will enable the research teams to investigate these topics in greater depth over the coming years.

The grants were awarded under the SNSF's Project Funding scheme, following the submission deadline of 1 April 2026. The funding periods range from three to four years, with start dates between October 2026 and March 2027.
