2019 BJCP Award for Young Researchers goes to Tamara van Donge, cPhD
The prize for the best paper in the British Journal of Clinical Pharmacology in 2019 was awarded to PhD student Tamara van Donge from DKF clinical research group Marc Pfister.
The publication "Methadone dosing strategies in preterm neonates can be simplified" reports on a study that showed that the current methadone dosing schemes for preterm neonates might be adjusted to a more simplified and shortened dosing strategy. This may be of relevance in the current opioid epidemic and consecutive challenges.
The laureate would like to thank in particular Samira Samiee-Zafarghandy, Marc Pfister, Gilbert Koch, Majid Kalani, Arash Bordbar and John van den Anker.
