BRCCH-Award for PD Dr. Andreas Müller
The Botnar Research Centre for Child Health (BRCCH) is funding a project on the treatment of cleft lip and palate under the leadership of DKF Research Group Leader PD Dr. Andreas Müller (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery/USB), in collaboration with ETH Zurich. Palatal platelets facilitate the surgical closure of the cleft. The project envisages a digital procedure to simplify the production of the platelets. Children in low-income countries should benefit most from this.
