In a multicenter cohort study, an international research team led by DKF Research Group Leader PD Dr. Salome Dell-Kuster, Dr. Nuno Gomes (Anaesthesia/USB), Prof. Philipp Kirchhoff and Prof. Rachel Rosenthal have developed the first prospectively validated classification for the standardized assessment of intraoperative adverse events.

The study was recently published in The British Medical Journal and awarded the Innovation Quality Prize 2020 of the FMH, the Swiss Medical Association.
