Dr. Thomas Nestelberger and Dr. Jasper Boeddinghaus (Cardiology/USB) from Prof. Christian Müller's DKF research group are the first authors of a study on the predictability of serious cardiac complications in patients with suspected acute myocardial infarction. It was investigated whether the combination of the physician's clinical assessment and the ECG with the concentration of cardiac troponin in the blood improves the predictability of complications.
