Im Auftrag des Bundesrats lancierte der Schweizer Nationalfonds (SNF) Ende April 2020 das Nationale Forschungsprogramm «Covid-19» (NFP 78). Von den 28 neuen COVID-19 Forschungsprojekten, die gefördert werden, stehen zwei unter der Leitung von DKF Forschungsgruppenleitern:
